Well, in my case, it's a combination of real life getting in the way
of writing, and my current project being in another fandom.  Though,
naturally, it's a shared universe, so BtVS elements (and a few
characters)will naturally pop up.  But, as it's centered around the
early years of the notorious Black sisters, especially Andromeda, our
favorite pair likely won't turn up, at least until pretty late in the
game.  But, given what I'm doing with Andromeda, I can do something
with that, later. 

I'd hadn't initially intended to do the shared universe things with
this, but as I was working out the dynamics of the Dark Arts in the HP
series, I remembered Stephen King had brought the HP series into the
Cthuhlu Mythos framework in his Dark Tower series, and, hey!  That's
where Buffy is.  So, since they're in the same universe, anyway...

Speaking of crossovers with that fandom, I loved The Bandersnitch,
pairing Buffy with my favorite character from that series.  Now,
there's someone who'd be right at home in the Buffyverse.  And, liking
the new series, here.  A Willow that knows she's gay and hasn't put
Buffy in that "friend" box, yet.
