Re: RE: Purring and my 2 cents.
Greetings,
IT'S CALLED FICTION NOT THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL.
I dunno, if the Discovery Channel starts doing specials on 'Intelligent
Design' I'll call it fiction.
or Satan warship.
Personally, I'd very much like to see a Satan Warship; seriously, no I'm not
pointing out the spelling mistake, I think the idea of Satan Warship is
freaking awasome. Someone has to work that into a fanfic.
The point is, if the writer feels like making Buffy purr on top of Willow
and do the nasty, hey I am all for it.
You n' me both.
I think there was a bit of an attempt at conversation at the original inquiry.
Not a serious position of 'For' or 'Against' such an idea; probably an effort
of sorts to generate some amicable traffic considering the low amounts that
have been the norm for the past fifteen months or thereabouts.
Working facts into a story is often a good thing.
Exactly. Sometimes the mental exercise involved in such queries can be as of
much enjoyment as the writing of a story. It also lends an element of
credibility to the tale. There's also the idea of it creating Justification.
What occurs far too often is authors attempting to justify aspects of the
story after the fact(Ex Post Facto...wee! Latin!) of the story. If a story has
reason, and reality, and details enough these are its own justification and no
arguments for them are neccessary.
Example as mentioned in other media: Sex scenes are better as a plot device,
not as a plot break.
But Purple snodsnuffs inserted in a acid trip moments are also fun.
Not if the Snondsnuffs attempt to start a viscious debate about the
comparsions of Pepsi vs Coke(The correct answer is: They both taste like
malted battery acid)
JUST DAMN IT GET BUFFY AND WILLOW HAVING WILD WILD WILD SEX
Actually I think your fic where you had Willow anally banging Buffy with a
strap-on, atop a tombstone, while engaging in casual converation with the
Archangel Gabriel, was pretty much the cap on Wild, Wild B/W Sex, Carol. At
least I've never seen anything that can beat that.
It's all about the Buffy and Willow.
Agreed.
In the venus OF continuing converation here is a seemingly innocous query:
In your opinion(Your meaning all B/W shippers, yes, you reading this right
now, I mean you.) assuming the slayer is a Quasi, or even totally seperate
entitiy, or even if it is not, is The Slayer a representataion of a Primal
Force or is it merely a Force(Force being defined as 'Supernatural Energy,
self-aware or otherwise) that was found, originally, in a pre-civilization,
savage female?
Why do you think so?
What would, or could, the difference mean for existing or potential fanfics?
Discuss.
Or I'll shoot you.
