It's mellowed out a bit, these days, but there was a time when we 
were the Pirate Ship of Buffy Fandom.  I don't know what it was 
about this ship, but people REALLY got touchy.  The very IDEA that 
Willow might find Buffy attractive would get you essay length 
lectures on how horrible a person you were, and that just because 
Willow's gay doesn't mean she wants "every girl she happens to 
know", as though Buffy was just some aquaitance. 

Of course, adding that Buffy was straight and that while Faith was 
making passes Buffy didn't respond (Never mind what Petrie said) 
just called out the Fuffy folks, who pointed out that Faith has 
perfectly functioning Gaydar, as she demonstrated in Who Are You.  
Besides, Willow admitted she had issues with Faith shagging her 
people, or something like that.

It keeps the redhead occupied, though there's a strong preferrence 
for Tara among the Fuffies.
