  Joyce and Buffy were cleaning up while Dawn and I played in the
living room. They came into the room, and I started to freak out knowing
the conversation coming. Buffy must have seen the look on my face
because she sat down beside me took hold of my hand.

  "Willow, I would like to thank you for feeding my girls. I don't even
want to know what kind of mess they would have made feeding themselves,"
Joyce said. "Hey!" Buffy and Dawn both yelled. "Thank you Joyce, but I
would like to apologize for earlier," I started to explain. "Don't worry
about it," Joyce said.

  "Mom, I need to tell you something. Willow and I have recently
discovered we have feelings for each other," Buffy said waiting for
Joyce's response. "Holy crap! Willow's your girlfriend," Dawn said
loudly breaking the silence. "Dawn, I need you to go upstairs while I
talk to Willow and Buffy," Joyce said. "Fine," Dawn said pouting up the
stairs.

  "I am to assume that all you have done is kiss?" Joyce inquired.
"Pretty much, we have done a little hand groping," Buffy answered.
"Okay, I would like to have a few house rules," Joyce said. "So, you're
not mad. I mean with our relationship," Buffy said. "Honey no, I would
have like to have been told, but I just want you to be happy," Joyce
said. "I love you mom," Buffy said giving her mom a hug.

 "Willow, are you okay?" Joyce asked. "Yeah, I didn't want to interrupt
the family discussion," I said. "Sweetie, if you're dating Buffy , you
are part of this family," Joyce said. I started to cry again as I
thought I can't believe this family. "Baby, don't cry," Buffy said as
they both hugged me. "Honey, I think I know what's going on. Your
parents love you, but they don't show it physically, do they?" Joyce
asked. 

  "Not as much," I said. "I'm sorry Willow, but it going to be okay,"
Joyce said hugging me again. "Mom, you said something about house
rules," Buffy said. "Right, I would appreciate that you control
yourselves around Dawn. I honestly don't think your ready for making
love, but if you do I hope you do so in the privacy of your room," Joyce
explained. 

  "Thanks for understanding mom, I promise to keep the more
affectionate kissing upstairs," Buffy said taking my hand. Joyce went
upstairs to get Dawn so we all could watch TV. Buffy and I were kissing
when someone knocked on the door.

  "Xander," I said as Buffy opened the door. "Evening ladies, I want to
apologize about earlier. I'm sorry for the way I acted," he explained.
"Xander, don't worry about it. I love you, and I would never purposely
hurt you," I said hugging him. "Although Buffy, I have to threaten to
hurt you if you hurt Willow," Xander said trying to threaten. "I
understand Xander, but I don't plan on it," Buffy said hugging him.
"Buffy, who's at the door?" Joyce said coming down the steps with Dawn.

  "Mom, Dawn, this is our friend Xander," Buffy said introducing him.
"It's nice to meet you Xander. I guess you know about Buffy's special
gift?" Joyce asked. "It's nice to meet you Mrs. Summers and you too
Dawn, and yes I know about Buffy's vocation," he said. "Did you guys
have anything planned?" Joyce asked. "Not really," Buffy answered. "Why
don't you guys take Dawn to the movies," Joyce said.
