FF: Keep Me Safe 5/?

  Buffy and I had to behave at the movies since Dawn was with us.
Although, I think Dawn has a crush on Xander. After the movie, Buffy and
I went to the restroom to make out a little. "Buffy, I think we should
get back," I said taking Buffy's hand leading her towards the door. I
open the door, and Dawn had a smirk on her face.

  "Five bucks Xander, I told you they were making out," Dawn said
laughing. "You were betting on whether or not Willow and I were
kissing," Buffy said looking upset. "Oh come on sweetie, it's funny," I
said giving Buffy a hug.

  We decided to walk Xander home before heading back home ourselves.
Buffy and I were holding hands following behind Xander and Dawn. "Guys,
hold up," Buffy said taking a stake from her jacket. "Buffy what's up?"
Xander asked. 

  "Xander, Willow, protect Dawn," Buffy said as a vampire jumped in
front of us. I pushed Dawn between Xander and I as Buffy made short work
of the vampire. "Let's hurry up and get home," Buffy said as we picked
up the pace. We dropped Xander off before getting back to Buffy's.

  Joyce was sitting on the couch on the way home. "Did you enjoy the
movie, Dawn?" she asked. "Yeah, it was funny," Dawn said heading
upstairs. "Mom I need to tell you that I slayed a vampire on the way
home, but I made sure Xander and Willow protected Dawn," Buffy explained
as she took my hand. "Thank you for protecting your sister, I know you
will always look out for her," Joyce said giving Buffy and I a hug.

  "I think I'm gonna go to bed. I'm getting tired," Buffy said yawning.
"Buffy, can you tuck in Dawn? I'll check in on her later," Joyce asked
as we headed upstairs. "Buffy, can I sleep with you and Willow tonight?
I'm still a little scared," Dawn asked. 

 "Yeah Dawn, I'm sorry I forgot to ask if you were alright after
getting home," Buffy said giving her sister a hug. "Dawnie, how about I
take care of Buffy, and Buffy takes care of you," I said explaining the
sleeping arrangements.

  Buffy and Dawn were asleep pretty much when there heads hit the
pillows. I was almost asleep when I heard the door open. Joyce peeked in
and smiled. When our I eyes met, I gave her a smile as she winked at me
before closing the door.

  Thankfully, today is Saturday. With all that has happened, I'm glad
Buffy and I have the weekend to enjoy together. I was the first one up,
and I looked at Buffy and Dawn before I left. I thought Buffy looked so
sweet protecting her sister as I made my way downstairs to start
breakfast.

  "Morning Willow," Joyce said. "Morning Joyce, looks like you and I
had the same idea," I said smiling. "Well then I guess you can help me.
Thank you were taking care of my girls last night," she said giving me a
hug. "Sorry about that, Dawn was still a little shaken up," I explained.

  Joyce and I were almost done with breakfast when Buffy and Dawn came
down. "Buffy, you have a growth on you back. Do you need to go to the
doctor and get it looked at," Joyce said laughing. "Mommy, that's not
funny," Dawn said climbing of Buffy's back. "I'm sorry sweetie, I was
just teasing," Joyce said giving Dawn a hug.

  I walked over to Buffy and gave her a kiss. "What was that for?"
Buffy asked kissing me back. "Just a good morning kiss," I said. Buffy
and Dawn set the table while Joyce and I brought in the food.

  "Dawn, do you want to go shopping with me today?" Joyce asked. "Sure
mom, but what about them. You know what they're going to do while we're
gone," Dawn said sticking her tongue out. "Actually Dawn, Willow and I
were going to her house to pick up more of her things," Buffy said
repeating the gesture.  

  "Willow, do you have any idea when your parents are getting back?"
Joyce asked. "Not really, they come and go so much, I lose track," I
replied.
