Buffy the Vampire Show? I remember seeing an author's note somewhere
that said that fic would be mostly Buffy/Angelus, and so I didn't
bother reading it, since that's not a pairing I have any desire to
read.... Are you saying it's actually a B/W fic? What other pairings

It is NOT Buffy/Angelus.

The premise is, after Angel lost his soul in "Surprise," Angelus turns right around, goes back into his apartment, and turns Buffy.

It is NOT Buffy/Angelus.  The pairings are many and varied.  But one thing is very clear: Buffy wants Willow.  Yes, Buffy becomes a vampire/slayer  She's a vamp with a soul and she keeps on slaying.  But she's changed.  She's hot, she's horny, and she has her sights set on the redhead.

It's not graphic--most sex happens off-screen--but Buffy's a lusty vampire who has sex with a lot of people.  But no matter what or who she's been with, she keeps coming back to hit on Willow.  Remember, this is second season Willow: she's not an out lesbian and she's just starting a relationship with Oz.  She's disturbed and intrigued and occasionally jealous of Buffy.  And she slowly starts to respond.  I think it's very in character for her.

I repeat, it is NOT Buffy/Angelus.  Yes, Angelus exerts sire's rights--especially right at the beginning--but it's never portrayed as a relationship, it's all about the sire's power.  And Buffy does eventually break free of him.

It's an episodic series.  There are slayer adventures intermingled with the soap opera arcs, just like the TV series.  Nothing is resolved quickly, no one falls into anyone's arms and lives happily ever after.  It's still ongoing and very entertaining.  I highly recommend it.
