It's an old story, hasn't been updated in years. It was a huge
epic, you'd
have seen it if you were on the list at the time.

Ah... that places it -- timewise.... thanks.

HDouglas worked on it for more like years than weeks.

Don't we all have something like that? %-)

That's a monster of a story... over 600K words. And it wasn't finished?

Yikes!

Fraid so. Like I said, huge epic.

I read some of it... it looks vaguely familiar... tried to read it
tonight...
lost interest less than a quarter thru the 1st part.

It's an admirable effort, and I'm sure it has its raving fans but it
wasn't
to my taste. Too many things in it didn't work for me. Reminds me of
a 'Wanderverse' except centered around Buffy/Willow.

Ah, but I'm a big Wandererverse fan too, so I don't mind stories that have a zillion crossovers, although, Book I of Immortal Pair did stretch the limit a bit. The other two don't have quite as many crossovers. Also, HDouglas's writing got better, meaning the technical aspects. The text gets more readable later on. Basically, it was a case of a first time writer, learning as he wrote. He posted chapters pretty regularly for a long time, and it was kind of fun to watch the writing evolve.

Note: The text files in the group files area... are in some odd/non-
standard
Windows text-encoding format that isn't straight ASCII. So, some people
will probably have problems seeing all of the punctuation on a non-
Windows
computer (It took me a few minutes to clean it up enough on my Mac
for it
(part 1 anyway) to be readable.)

You're doing better than me. I can't open the dang thing. Seems my Windows package didn't include the correct program. Gotta track that down before I can see the format.
