Here's an interesting Idea I had for a Wiffy rewrite of season Six. I'm kinda surprised nobody ever thought of something like this.
It's a simple concept really. And must be a Wiffy Fic. But if the author is so inclined it can also be a Wuffara fic.
What if When the Buffy leapt in to the portal her soul WAS indeed trapped in hell?
What if the PTB sent Willow those dreams of Buffy's soul crying out. Because they were powerless to directly intercede on their Champions Behalf?
Willow resurrects Buffy. But Buffy is a damaged soul. Which would only make sense. The forces of Hell would have delighted in abusing the Slayer for what would have been centuries given what we know of time in hell dimensions. Buffy would have HAD to suppress her humanity to survive.
Willow has restored Buffy Physically. Now she's the only person who can heal her heart and soul. But to do so she must be honest with herself about her love for Buffy.
There that's it I only ask a few things.
NO MAGIC ADDICTION!
NO SPUFFY. (friendship's fine if you must. But NO SPUFFY BOINKAGE)
NO TARA DEATH
And last but MOST IMPORTANT, A happy Wiffy or Wuffara ending.
I really hope somebody adopts this little plot bunny and gives it a happy home.James
