I've only seen the Internet released preview and I agree.  I read this, despite the spoilers, because I still haven't decided if I'm going to read the comic yet.  I'm still undecided.

Not homophobic, exactly.  But it is judgemental and closed-minded.  But hardly any worse than Willow's, "You know Buffy: sweet girl; not that bright."

Yes, Joss, sometimes childhood friends grow apart.  And sometimes they grow closer.  I personally have lived through both.  Why only portray the bad example?  Xander could (and really was) the example of growing apart.  Willow should have been the opposite.  Just for the contrast.

I don't know.  But I still hope it's not, just because you're so emphatic about it.  I'm willing to bet that, if you're right, I'd be disappointed too.

I've got a question.  Who is more universally reviled?  Riley or Kennedy?  Only a very few seem to like either one.  Is there anyone who actually does like both of them?

Too bad Willow wasn't with Kennedy while Buffy was with Riley.  Then everyone would be a Wiffy shipper!
