Yo, reading that breaks my heart. Don't blame Willow, blame the
writers.  The whole thing is out of character (like most everything
else in the UPN years), and is a rather desperate attempt to gain more
undeserved sympathy for the Heroic Rapist.

Who did you talk to and what did they suggest? If you like, we could
go over it a couple rounds.

Most of the time I'd be right there with you, but you know what?  I'm
tired of being pissed at Whedon.  (If he deserves it or not, now that
is another question)

I left this community about two years ago over a rather stupid
argument that was entirely my fault, and kept away.  When the season
eight comic was announced it was my firm conviction that I'd keep away
from it.  But as it got closer, I realized I missed Buffy. I missed
Willow and Xander and I just plain missed hot girls fighting monsters.
I missed the friends I think I've made here.  And I missed Wiffy; I
missed the best lesbian couple I've ever encountered in fiction, fan
or otherwise.

I'm not ready to give up on this 'ship.  I intend to fight for it, to
the point where all reason and experience tell me it's hopeless and
then gleefully ignoring them.  This may require some more effort on my
part and whole bunch of prayers to St. Jude, but so it goes.  

So let's get out there and win one for the Gipper-(Sound of clown hammer).

The appliances and I are in agreement about this
