I just do it to get Buffy to beat up boys. LOL. Seriously. Who she's
with? I shrug just as long as she gets to beat up boys. Yeah, I know,
it makes me a stereotype, but I've learned to embrace it.

Seriously though, I've never understood the shipper divisions. Canon
or non canon, does what I enjoy take away from what someone else
enjoys. Not one bit. And vice versa.

LOL. What I can't believe is that there are people who do care. Like
it actually matters or something. I'd thought this nonsense had shared
 a fate with the dodo when the show ended, but maybe it's just because
I stopped frequenting most Buffy centric boards.

I feel pretty much the same. Even though Wiffy would probably have to
go down as my favorite 'ship, I've never had any desire to see it in
canon.

Maybe she hasn't recovered from the lobotomy Warren gave her? I have
hope someone involved in season 8 will write at least one good Willow
issue, but it's a faint hope.

Ya think he'd survive that long? The time for this 'ship was the high
school years. Now? - shrug - Maybe.

Buffy/Angelus was dark, twisted, and terribly romantic. It's what sold
the 'ship for me the first time around. Buffy/Angel usually just makes
me want to gag.

And that's why Buffy/Angel makes me gag. When the show aired I only
caught the lollipop theme in 'The Becoming' during the Hemri scene. I
was watching my DVD's over the last week and I noticed the lollipop
was actually a recurring theme over the first couple years of the
show. Casts Bangal, well not in a new light, but it does make it even
creepier.

I didn't think I was going to like this 'ship for some strange reason,
but after 8x12 I'm sold. Best s8 issue yet. This was the first issue
that had the feel and texture of an ep of BtVS. Add in the fact that
they finally remembered that the V stood for vampire ... it's just gold.

Neither do I. But I can give you the simplistic psychobabel
explanation. They are looking for an external validation of their
feelings and for that same external force to tell others that their
feeling are wrong because they don't feel the same way. Yep, they're
acting like eight year olds. (No offense to actual eight year olds.)
