Kirayoshi, I hope you're right. I really hope so. Of course my cynic
wonders when Marsters's disapproval of Spike-redeeming has stopped this
storyline before (if JM had his way, he'd be on "Angel", raising
hellperhaps literally), but we can hope.

And I like the "Clockwork Orange" parallel. That would have been a
wonderful theme for S4torture and slavery is wrong, no matter how
evil the subject is.

Maybe if they'd put "a bit of the old Ludwig van" on the soundtrack I'd
cheer right up :)
