Re: Fanfic preferences

But I was just wondering -- does anyone else out there have a hard
time reading fanfic if it's not "your" couple? For example, you can
read Willow/Tara, but not Willow/Buffy...or Blair/Jo but not Sue
Ann/Molly...or Xena/Gabrielle...but not Xena/Legaspi. Does it kinda
turn you away (no offense to the writers, K?) from reading when it's
not two characters from the same show or when it's two character that
you'd prefer not to see together...kinda like John Carter and Susan
Lewis on ER?

Just wondering...

I'm generally pretty flexible about the pairing. I'll read one that I've
never thought about before, just to see if it works. I'll read cross show
pairings if I like both shows, and occasionally if I like one of the shows
and know the writer's work. I'll read most pairings if I like even one of
the characters in it, but there a few that I just can't get my head around.
Those I won't read. Also won't read them if I have no interest whatsoever
in either character.
