Actually, I did write a different take on Willow's parents. It's called "I'll Stand By You", and it's set after my first big fic, "Dying of the Light". In it, Ira and Sheila, after a little distance, learned to accept Buffy's place in Willow's life. Ira recalled his father, a Holocaust survivor in my story, telling him about the concentration camps, and how he learned about the importance of tolerance.
