OT: DVDs, a summary

Boy, did I start something with this topic!

According to Mad-hamlet, the DVD-Rom drives themselves aren't zoned, so
if you buy the relevant software you can play whatever you want. Buy 4
versions of software, play 4 regions worth of DVDs

Leanne, nothing at all is available in the States, but Michael said
earlier that they would go on sale after FX ran the repeats of the first
two season's episodes (presumably the Season 3 episodes will wait until
after those have aired). By my calculations, Season 2 should finish
airing on 8th November, allowing the product to be released for
Christmas shopping, as Michael points out.

Mel, my best suggestion would be to get the US versions when they come
out, and sell your region 2 editions overseas, via e-Bay or something.

Michael, thanks for the info. Do you have any idea on the US pricing?
