Nice to see you here again.
As for the B/W interaction--she got more time with Buffy than anyone
except Xander (it was his ep, after all), she was there for the whole
show (as opposed to the quickly written-out Spike), and we started with
B/W and (virtually) ended with B/W/D, which does seem to stress Will as
an intrinsic part of Buffy's homw life. Plus, a touch! (as brief as it
was, it's a start).
Herc's in the spoiler biz, so I can't blame him. It's those who go
spoiling the unspoiled that vex me. (BTW, any fics or snippets based on
Spoilers should be labeled as such--again, it's the accidental Spoilage
we're trying to avoid.)
I doubt Nick will leave the show now that his part's finally getting
good (about time, too, dontcha think?). I think he's under contract for
next year, anyway (although that would be an easy fib to tell, I admit).
On the W/T front, that seemed a little too-friendly (shouldn't Tara
have issues about sending signals like that? Will did "violate" her,
twice, is a recovering addict, and Tara made the decision to walk
away--a little uncertainty would be nice to see), so I'm thinking they
may be setting us up for a fall there, too.
And I hadn't thought about Anya causing next week's plot, but it's easy
to conceive. Perhaps she thinks Xander stood her up because he's not
over Buffy (the Xander in the visions wasn't, and while Anya didn't see
the visions, it's not odd for two people to have the same worries about
their marriage).
What I'm mostly wondering about next week is if "there is no Sunnydale"
means the rest of the cast takes the week off, and we just get Buffy,
Joyce, Hank, and the doctors at the loony bin. Or will the actors show
up there (Aly as Buffy's shrink, Nick as the hunky orderly, James as the
shy guy in the next straightjacket?)
Can't wait (and it's about time this show made me say that, right?).
Thanks for joining in.
Dan
