Re: When Buffy went Crazy INCLUDING SPOILERS
<<Having said that, yes, she was totally unnecessary. It smelt of
coincidence and there was no reason why Willow couldn't have gotten free
some other way.>>
Well I think they're definitely trying to make Tara more important to the
storyline. So by having her trying to save the day, they're making her bonds
with the gang stronger. But there was something I liked at the end. When
Buffy is standing before all of them Willow gets up and Tara's hand is on her
shoulder. But Will doesn't even glance at her, she's totally focused on
Buffy. That's the first time all season that I can remember her not fawning
over Tara in such close proximity. Now the questions is, was she focused on
Buffy because she was scared of her, or worried about her?
And since I'm gonna comment about Aeris's post I'm gonna use spoiler space:

<<This storyline could be a blessing or a curse for the Buffy/Willow
shippers.
Think of it this way. We know that Buffy will be unable to kill Willow. She
couldn't do that, but she will go to any extreme to get her back. Maybe even
going as far as openly admitting she loves her, or maybe some other way. But
on
to this episode... >>
See that's how I'm looking at it. With Tara out of the way it helps, but not
if Willow has gone psycho. And the line in 'Normal Again' where Buffy says
'You never stop coming through, thank you Willow' could be two different
things I think. It's either foreshadowing Will's fall from grace, as old
reliable if you will. Or its setting it up so now Buffy is the one that has
to come through this time for Willow. Like I said before, someone I talked
to who IS NOT a Buffy/Will shipper thought the 'once you fall' line was quasi
canon on Buffy's side. So maybe something will happen. Buffy is the Slayer,
but I don't see her stopping Willow in anyway with her Slayerness. If
anything can stop Willow its gonna have to be Buffy, her best friend, not the
Slayer.
<<But then Tara dies, in terms of the Angel storyline, Willow's soul, and
Willow turns into Angelues. So blinded by the need of revenge that she goes
on
a killing spree. The question is how will she get her soul back? Who's going
to
be her Willow? Will it be Tara back from the dead? Buffy? >>
There is only one problem with Tara dying and Willow going over the edge. It
shows just how much Willow loves her. And as a B/W ship that worries me. Of
course Willow did do anything and everything to get Buffy back, but she
didn't go out for revenge. Of course Glory was dead so there really wasn't
anyone to go after. But with Tara she just goes nuts and out for blood.
That really worries me.
I read a location shoot report from this weekend. They were filming a
sequence for episode 21. I'll leave a bit of space just in case you don't
wanna see it.

According to the report the scene is set that a huge 18 wheeler is chasing a
police car down the street. Inside the police car are Andrew, Jonathon,
Buffy and Xander. And they're being chased by Black Magic Willow, who is
standing on top of the cab of the truck, making it drive by magic and
apparently shooting lightening bolts at the police car. The guy said that it
was Aly's stunt double on top of the truck, and that she was decked
completely in black, black clothing, black eyes, and...BLACK HAIR! EEK!
So it looks like it's really gonna get bad, especially if she's chasing
Xander and Buffy.
There's been a lot of ta'lk about a reset in the season finale, but even if
they do that nothing will ever be the same again. We'll still have the
knowledge that given the right provocation Willow will turn against the
people that love her because of a need for revenge. It's good for the W/T
shippers, really bad for the rest of us :(
