Re: OT: Writers for final three eps

>Anyway, I kinda have to disagree with the point about the Scoobies having Zero guilt in bringing Buffy back. They didn't do it for the world,
they did it for themselves. Or more precisely, Willow brought her
back. I don't know if she thought for sure she was in hell and couldn't
stand the thought of Buffy spending eternity there. Or if she couldn't
handle the thought of spending the rest of her life without Buffy there
with her. It never was really explained all that well. Although in
'Tabula Rasa', Willow takes the blame squarely on her shoulders,
admitting that she didn't want to know if Buffy was in heaven. She was
selfish, in her own words. So yeah, I think there needs to be some
guilt on the Scoobies part. Willow brought her back because she loved
her, plain and simple. <

just remember, the world needs a slayer, and just as Buffy was selfish
to turn herself in in dead things, she was also selfish to commit
suicide at the end of the gift, and the scoobies plus willow were being
altruistic to bring buffy back, because the slayer can only protect the
world when she's alive, and faith is currently in prison. Also, I
disagree with giles not wanting willow to resurect buffy, because buffy
is not a normal human with mortal capabiliteis (like joyce), but she's a
superhuman girl who's sworn duty is to protect the world from vampires.
Plus she's already died before.
