I was pretty dissapointed as well as I was expecting the difference to be not
that she was sub-human (or part-demonic) but rather now more super-human
(part-angelic). Would have made a lot more sense.
But then the whole season has been rather lame. Frankly, it is starting to
make Season 4 look good even with the hideousness that was Buffy/Riley. And
I happen to enjoy B/S shippage. Unfortunately I have not enjoyed this
season's B/S moments because it has been done all wrong and from the get go
we knew it wouldn't last, so what's the point.
