SPOILERS - Two to Go/Grave and beyond

Hey all,

Well, my head cold is worse, I've lost my voice completely and 
haven't been able to speak for 4 days, and I'm all messed up on 
medication. Perfect time to contribute, I thought. ;)

OK, final eposodes. Even though I've only just seen Gone (being of 
the Aussie species), I've got a smidge of info from other sources.

According to one site, in the "big showdown" when Willow's hell bent 
on destroying the world (apparently - a little rash, one would think, 
but...oh well), Xander's the one who talks her down (so to speak), 
not Buffy. Will sends all manner of beasties after Buffy to keep her 
occupied, but Xander tracks her down and tells her how much they all 
love her (doesn't work - big surprise), then tells her that he's 
known her since forever, and if she wants to destroy the world and 
kill everyone, then fine - but she has to start with him. Gives her 
a bit of a wake up slap-in-the-chops, methinks. All sobby cuddles at 
the end.

I don't know how accurate this may be, but it'd be nice to see the 
friendship between the two of them reinforced.

Also, a rumour (from a friend of a friend of my brother - and he's 
not the most stable of people at the best of times, and has no 
interest whatsoever in BtVS) seems to be floating about that next 
season Willow somehow gets involved with the Watcher's Council, 
possibly even becoming a Watcher herself. 

Not sure I like the sound of that.......anyone else heard anything 
along those lines?
