This is mostly speculation, some based on spoilers I have seen, 
and some based on convoluted thoughts that I have had on the subject. 

Firstly..on Wills becoming a Watcher. That could be interesting. 
Buffy needs a Watcher..Giles is out of the picture..so maybe... ;)
Who knows..the council would be aware that she has rare power, 
provided she is able to use magic at all next season, and may decide 
she has something to offer. Iiiiiiiiinteresting..

Also..I read this spoiler:

~~~~The final scene of the season is all about Spike and takes 
place after the Sunnydale storyline is wrapped. Spike is going to go 
through a change, but it isn't getting his chip out or getting a 
soul, not in the Angel sense that is. The final scene will be Spike 
walking out of the cave and into the bright midday African sun - FTB. 
It's supposed to be just like the final scene with Buffy and Dawn.~~~

I found this interesting as well. Not sure if the source of this 
spoiler is legit..but, perhaps Spike becomes mortal/human again? I 
wonder if this is possible, because it would make for a very strange 
plotline in S7..Spike learning to deal with being human again..not to 
mention the Scoobies dealing with residual hatred for the dirty, 
disgusting....man? :P 

On pairings. I think Xander still loves Anya, so I can't imagine 
him with either Buffy or Willow at this point. There is speculation 
that Amber Benson may be back next season..which I doubt. Willow 
won't be ready for love, unless she gets her beloved back. Buffy, the 
ever-jaded, needs someone nice. And as much as I would like that to 
be Willow..or even Xander, I can't see that happening.

Quick question. What do you think next season's theme, "Back to 
the Beginning", will mean for our Scoobies?
