Re: To Thine Own Self Be True 1,2,3/undetermined.

Hmm...

Mike, I must say that your writing style is very compelling. You've managed
to maintain my interest from the beginning, and you've set things up nicely
for future surprises; I like the idea of Merrick leaving Buffy a warning
against the Council. I also enjoy stories that attempt to bridge the movie
and the series. (Semi-unrelated moment; later this year, BtVS the Comic
Book, published by Dark Horse Comics, will start a twelve-issue story arc
called 'Betwixt and Between', set between the end of the movie and Buffy's
first day at Sunnydale High. Featured highlights include the Council dealing
with Buffy's being in the mental ward('Normal Again') and some friction
between Buffy and Dawn, who blamed Buffy for their parents breaking up.
Looks intriguing.)

Some constructive criticism, if I may; I noticed that at some point in your
first chapter, you switched from a third-person POV to Buffy's POV. It threw
me at first, but in chapters two and three, her POV seemed to work better.
Maybe you should go through chapter one again and rework the first part to
match the POV of the rest of the story. Just a suggestion. By all means,
keep writing; you've got me interested.
