Thanks for the clarification. While I feel that I am more a show 
rather then tell writer, your point about showing being more work is 
well taken. To get a concept out quickly, telling is the quick and 
lazy way, to which I freely admit being guilty. While I agree that 
showing is more compelling than telling, I am not convinced that 
telling is ALWAYS inappropriate. But it is definitely something to 
ponder.
