VERY OT - small discussion on ANGEL season finale/ and thoughts on Btvs

Ok - I saw the season finale of Angel last night...and I wanted to discuss it here as it is an ME production and I see a few similar things happending in BtVS...spoiler space.....

In my opinion...last night's angel episode was the worst way to end a relatively good season. If you didn't see it but are still reading this...essentially the PTB think that Cordy has evolved to a higher being and want her help in a higher plain....fine...we get to see Cordelia, the highschool, hell mouth bitch (merely for her treatment of willow...will never forget softer side of sears comment)...ascend into heaven so to speak...

possible reference to BTVS 'villian's' from last week...as its not quite been a week yet...

tonight we get to see willow's descent into hell based on what we've seen thus far. Can I just ask one thing?? Is everyone at ME on CRACK?? Thats the only explanation I can come up with...it explains the ridiculous drug metaphor we've seen this year....

YES - we all make choices....perhaps if Hitler had had a better upbringing...he wouldn't have been responsible for the deaths of over 6mil people....do we have to do this to willow though?? shes like the spirit of the group....now shes gone insane...our has lost her soul....

I'm having a party tonight...i planned it months ago. After the musical cuz i thought it was going to be a spectacular season finale...last year's was...so...i have newbies coming over...i even made a compilation tape showing the intense friendship between buffy and willow...and I swear...if Buffy's finale is 1/2 as lame as Angels...i just don't know if I'll be able to show my face anymore...

Kathy...finally giving up on looking for the bright side....You're all right....this season has just been the worst...they've destroyed willow...they took away the positive gay role model...and they've put b/w against each other....what could be worse???
