Stealing your spoiler space.

Even forgetting Cordy's behavior in Sunnydale, I don't
think she (or the writers) earned this plotline.
Skip was complimenting her on her responsible use of
power. But how many things did she actually do
*intentionally*? I think she may have willfully
healed Connor, but I was under the impression that all
of her other uses of her new demonic powers were
involuntary (reflexive, if you will) reactions to
danger of some kind.
I mean, there haven't even been that many
Cordy-uses-power scenes. She got rid of the glowy
water squid things (reflex!); she failed to close the
portal (when she actually tried.) How is that enough
for TPTB to make her a Higher Being? Does having
recieved the visions count for that much?
The ending scene with Cordy rising and Angel sinking
could have been good, if it had been earned.

Yes! That's exactly it. Maybe David Fury has
remained pure, however; we can only hope. Obi-Dave,
you're our only hope. Use the Force, don't to drugs.
Of course, now that the Force is really just something
in your bloodstream, maybe power *is* just chemical
enhancements, after all.

Exactly. Willow *is* the spirit of the group (and of
Buffy herself, if you take it to the next level.)
<bright-side class="sorta">Well, this *is* supposed to
be a season about internal conflict, right? So maybe
Buffy's fight with Willow is really a fight with her
own soul.</bright-side>
Heck, maybe she's still in the insane asylum and her
condition is just worsening.

That was creepy. If she was intentionally imitating
her vampire double, that's creepy; if it's a latent
part of her personality, that's really really creepy.

Snyder returning from Hell to give Jonathan and Andrew
a sexual education in prison, in a special Anime
episode featuring the First Monster Out of the
Hellmouth in a ten-minute Hentai segment.
<shudder>
Damn, I think I just wigged myself out with that one.
I'm leaving now.
