Hope that is enough spoiler space.

YES I AGREE WITH THE CRACK Theory At ME. It's the only explanation.

THE ascent into HEAVEN was just name. I mean totally otherly LAME. I am
talking cheesy lame. And I like the way they let Cordy grow, her charter was
really really expanding. But they gave her power and we know what power
does, just look at little Willow. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK I am so pissed, I can't stand it. I think it just sucks. I loved Buffy,
and I could stand Angel, (the shows) and the had to fuck it all up. What in
gods name were they thinking. YES THIS IS AN ANGER RANT! AND because it's a
rant it doesn't have to make sense GOD DAMN IT. Does what they have done to
Willow make sense.

Ok, now I feel a little better. You should have heard me last night
screaming at my TV as the cheesy angel effect happened. Trust me there is
simple not enough valium in the world right now.

IN the seventies there was this thing, a feminist mantra. The personal is
political. I was a teen then, and well I though it was a sucky mantra. Now
as I go crazy over Buffy I see it. I am upset at Willow's treatment as a
charter because it is personal to me. I was a gay teen. I was a nerd. I
never fit in, in school. My first boyfriend was a werewolf, ok a dog, but I
wanted to fit in so when he asked me out I jumped at the chance. (Actually
he was a band nerd, played the tuba.) I knew I was gay but I really wanted
to fit in.

So Willow is very personal to me. And watching her grow, data Tara. Be in
love with her best friend who didn't even notice her. All those things, I
felt personally. In short warm fuzzy feeling about it all. So the death of
Willow the innocent, is really the death on my innocents (which died a slow
death decades ago.)

And I really don't know how to react to Willow now. All I feel is Rage at
the death of something real or imagined that I held dear. Somehow I don't
think I am the only one feeling this. So it's personal, but it's also
political. It's not just Willow or innocent gay Willow being destroyed here.
It's a lot of young gay and lesbians icon. She is one of a hand full of
positive gay role models. The death of an icon, is like the death of a
saint. It should not go gentle in the night.
