Well I rewatched the episodes tonight after class, and I feel a tad bit 
differently about them. Last night, about an hour afterward I still had 
steam coming off me. And while I don't love them, they weren't as bad as I 
originally thought.

My problem with everything, is the residual effects it all has. How does 
Willow come back from this, knowing that she almost killed everything she 
loved. The guilt, the pain, the self loathing, it's gonna be unbearable I 
would imagine. Remember Giles told Buffy that even if they did stop her 
without killing her that she probably won't even be the same again. That she 
won't be able to live with herself.

So my question is, how do they work that? My hope is that the core Scoobies 
help her the way they should have been all season. Numerous times in the 
episode last night Buffy kept saying I can help you, let me help you. So 
hopefully they'll work with that next season.

As Stef said, maybe they'll play on Buffy's guilt for not being able to do 
more or for not saying more. In fact she even said to Giles that Willow 
needed her and she barely noticed. That's twice now she has said something 
like that. Twice in Fury episodes, seems to be borrowing his on stuff I 
suppose lol.

Anyway, maybe I'm being optimistic. But I'm gonna hold out some hope. If 
next season turns into the Buffy and Spike raising Dawn show, then I'm out. 
But I won't give up until I see exactly what's in store for us. We may just 
be surprised.
