I recently read that sarah m g as quit the buffy show after season 7 and will not sign another contract prefering to concentrate on making films. Her quote preceded to say she thought any of the other characters could still pull off the show and she hoped they would. But Joss allegedely stated that if S M G wouldn't be buffy then he'd rather leave the show on a high.

Does anyone know if there is any truth in this
