FIC: learning to live pt 6b

Pairing: Willow/other - Willow/ Buffy eventually
Spoilers: Season 6 maybe others somewhere down the road
Summery: Giles brings someone in to help after everything happens in 
season 6. Sorry I suck at this part.
Author notes: I have never written anything before this, so please 
tell me what you think.  

 
" Jen, what are you doing down here, I thought I told you to stay 
in your room tonight. With the headphones on", Sara said looking 
between the girl and Buffy. 
"And I thought you were supposed to help, not scare the poor girl 
to death", Jen said walking over to Willow and putting a protective 
arm around her.
Sara notice the look in Willow eyes and cursed herself for losing 
her control, " Ok, I know, I'm sorry". 
" Mom, it isn't me you need apologize too", Jen said knowing how her 
mother could lose control sometimes. 
"Willow I am sorry", Sara stated.
Willow couldn't seem to be able to find her voice and just nodded 
her head as acceptance. 
Buffy watched Sara and noticed that the cold, hardness left her and 
was replaced by a softer, more loving look after the appearance of 
the teenager. 
"Uncle Giles, it is so good to see you again, why has it taken so 
long for you to come around" Jen giggled running over and jumping 
into Giles hug.
"I don't honestly know, hon., everybody this Jennifer, Sara's 
daughter. Jennifer this is Buffy, Xander, Anya, Dawn who is the same 
age as you and will go to school with you soon, and this is Willow", 
Giles said introducing everyone to the new comer.
"Well we have a lot to catch up on, so tomorrow we are going to 
lunch and to the mall. Dawn would you like to join us, I could use a 
friend in this town" Jen asked looking at Dawn.
"Hey that would be cool, I could use a friend who knows about the 
crazy things that happen here, no one at school knows about it", Dawn 
was beaming at the prospect of a new friend who could understand 
things, " and I thought I was the only one who got sent to their room 
with headphones".
" No shit try being the daughter of a witch and an ex-?.
"Jennifer", both Giles and Sara screamed. 
" Oh they don't know do they", Jen blushed. 
" Not yet but soon", Sara sighed not looking forward to that 
confession.
Sara stepped away from Buffy and took a step toward Giles, " 
Rupert, I was wondering if I could borrow your slayer for awhile"? 
" Whatever for" Giles asked not liking the look Sara had in her eyes?
"Well I haven't had a good fight in a long time, no offence Gail, 
but she is the slayer and maybe I need a good ass kicking", Sara 
chuckled.
"Maybe", Buffy muttered, "I know she does".
" Sara don't you think you might be a little old for that", Giles 
said taking in the gleam in Sara eye's? 
"Rupert I am 34 years old, I don't think I am ready for the old 
folks home yet".
"Well than I guess it is up to Buffy", Giles looked at Buffy."
"Well Buffy, do you think your are up to a good fight", Sara asked 
Buffy hoping she would say yes. This girl needed to be taken down a 
notch, `and I am the one that can do it', Sara thought.
" Oh I so think I can handle it, if an ass kicking is want you want, 
how could I turn that down", Buffy said knowing she was going to 
enjoy this. 
" Well than why don't we go into the gym and see what the oldest 
living slayer is made off".
" After you", Buffy said with confidence.
Sara led them to a room off of the rec room. It was a big room 
separated into two sides. On one side was the typical gym equipment. 
The other side had mats on the floor and walls. The group made there 
way to the matted area. 
" Ok slayer, I want you to not hold back, remember you don't like 
me, you think I am a bitch", Sara said wanting to rile Buffy. She 
wanted her to not hold back. 
Before Buffy could answer Sara brought her foot up and kicked Buffy. 
Buffy went flying back about 5 feet and hit the padded wall with a 
thump. " You bitch", she said getting up. She jumped up and kicked 
Sara feet out from under her. With that the fight was on. For the 
next half an hour the two moved back and forth matching each other 
blow for blow. Neither one seeming to tire.
" It really is beautiful to watch", Jen said standing beside 
Willow, " you know you remind me of my other mom. It kind of freaked 
me out when I first saw you sitting there". 
" What happened to her", Willow asked looking at the smaller girl. 
"She died when I was a baby, I never actually got to know her but 
mom has all kind of pictures of her", Jen said thinking about the 
times her and her mom looked at them.
" I'm sorry, it must be hard to not have met her", Willow whispered.
" It is sometimes but I have mom Sara and Gail, they make it better".
" Are your Mom and Gail together", Willow asked, thinking about the 
look Sara had when she saw Buffy holding her hand.
Jen started to laugh, " No, you're not the first to ask me that but 
mom hasn't been serious with anyone since mommy". 
" That's a shame she is very beautiful", Willow remarked, `hot and 
really sexy' Willow thought than blushed realizing where that thought 
was going.  
" I know that's what I keep telling her", Jen laughed at the 
blushing older red head, " I have an idea I'll keep mom under control 
for you and you help me convince her it is time for her to move on".
" I don't know if I am the one for that", Willow said honestly, " 
how can I tell your mom to move on when I can't".
" Well maybe you can help each other, do you think that your 
girlfriend would want you to be alone", Jen asked looking at Willow 
with the same brown eyes as her mom.
Willow was amazed at the maturity of this young girl, she hoped Jen 
and Dawn became friends, it would do Dawn good she thought, " no, Jen 
she wouldn't, she told me as much". Willow saw the look of confusion 
in Jen eyes and continued; " one night I tried to kill myself and 
Tara came to me and told me I was going to find someone new. She told 
me to be happy, that I would see her again. I haven't told anyone 
about it though, I think they would just tell me I was crazy".
" Willow do you think you are crazy"?
"No it was real, I could feel it, it was my Tara", Willow looked at 
Jen for a reaction.
" Than don't you think you ought to listen to her, have you ever 
doubted what Tara has said", Jen asked Willow?
Willow thought for a second," No never she has always steered me 
straight or not so straight", Willow smiled and felt better talking 
to this girl.`Maybe I do need to learn to live again' Willow thought. 
"Well than how about we go forward not straight", Jen put her arm 
around her new friend and they went back to watching the fight 
between her mom and Willow's best friend. 
Just than Sara threw Buffy against the wall, Buffy was bleeding 
from her lip and a small gash on her forehead. 
" Giles, tell your slayer to stand down, she can't take anymore and 
I don't want to kill her", Sara looked at a defeated Buffy and walked 
away.
Buffy lunged for Sara again but she just stepped aside and Buffy 
fell to the floor. 
" Buffy", Giles started, " it's over you lost, back off".
" Giles who the hell is she, how can she beat me", Buffy asked out 
of breath, still sitting where she had fallen.
Sara looked around the room at the stares off the slayer's amazed 
friends and finally settled on Giles, " well, old man, I guess it is 
time for you to let the cat out of the bag".
"Buffy, I would like you to meet Sara, the ex vampire slayer", Giles 
smiled. 
" What", everybody screamed at once.
