Re: Re: OT: Murder, morality, etc.
Dan,
Oookay. Having just watched my tape of 'Two to Go' and 'Grave' (God, I'm sooo depressed), I stand corrected on the chronology of events. Willow clearly *did* know what she was doing when she drained the Black Texts at the Magic Box thereby souping up her innate powers. However, I put it to you that her behavior changed radically right after absorbing all the dark mojo (Alyson Hannigan IMHO did a wonderful job of portraying a personality in a completely altered state), but before she so messily disposed of Warren. Whether she would have actually killed the putz if she had caught him without theboost, rather than just hurting him a whole lot, was made a non-issue by the writers' need for EEEVILL Willow (gag). So, yeah, I think that, in the moral paradigm of the show, Willow might very well *not* be held responsiblefor her actions.
Of course, none of this would matter a fig if Joss hadn't SCREWED UP THE WHOLE SEASON, <ahem> in the first place. Sorry about that. I've still got issues.
Back to you, boss.
