Well, ya see, if Giles didn't get all snarky then Willow couldn't say 'maybe you shouldn't piss me off'. Of course, then the audience wouldn't have any idea that Willow was going to go all EEEVIL. 'Cause we're such idiots, dontcha know.<bleah>
