buffy 7:21, end of days. (spoilers for the ep inside)
Happy happy joy joy.. Finally an ep i quite liked:)
Lemme see now.. spoiler space following..
This
sure
was
a
much
better
episode
than
i
expected,
And
im
quite
glad
i
didnt
totally
give
up
on
watching
buffy.
Oki.. guess that cuts it.. Now to the goodies
It was with some mixed feelings i sat down to watch this episode
really, after the horrors visited upon us earlier in this season,
but.. i did it anyway.
Started to get a real good feeling though although from the start,
with Buffy yanking out that scythe of the stone, and that Caleb fellow
going "Can you pry it from solid rock before i come over there and...
Shee, hmm.... Darn!" Now THAT was an opening of the show that i
actually liked! Things happened even before the intro, gotta love it!
(Was a funny moment too, i was quite shocked)
Have to admit i found it maybe a bit unconvincing that Buffy was
suddenly able to slice and dice 3 ubervamps at once, when she earlier
was getting her ass majorly kicked by just one.. Ohwell..
Ill just refrain from commenting on the Spike/Buffy bonding part in
the house aswell, it wasnt too long, so i guess i shouldnt complain
too much.
The mystical priestess/druid/guardian/whatever(old bag lady) was ..
well.. Soso.. Sometimes i feel like the whole season was been nothing
other than vague hints and false leads.. It makes for a very
interesting finaly i bet, but seriously.. there is such a thing as
overdoing it.
The buttkicking of Caleb in the end though, now that i liked:) Only
thing, is that sucker really dead? Yeah he got sliced across the
belly, but hey, what would it hurt to actually make sure he is dead by
slicing off his head or anything? (yeah i know, im being paranoid, jus
t got the feeling he is going to show his head again.. Ohwell.. only
one ep to go, i guess it doesnt matter much)
The Angel/Buffy scene was also pure gold, i normally dont go for
Buffy/Angel myself.. but anything to get Spike out of the picture:)
Does anyone else think this means he will be swapping teams? Ohwell..
only one week left to see.
Also.. did anyone notice that Willow and Buffy actually talked
together in this ep, and even shared a laugh at Giles's expense? It
was almost like they were best friends or something! I got warm fuzzy
feelings there:)
Not only that, but Buffy entrusted Giles and Willow to actually
research out something, instead of going for Dawn or whoever else was
around. I actually felt like the scooby gang was back together again
there for a moment.. Odd feeling.
Now.. if only instead of Angel coming to the rescue of Buffy in that
temple in the end, it had been Willow instead giving her a helping
hand(using a bit of witchy magic to send Caleb flying)..
Someone write me a fanfic with that please!
Zorro.
Ps.. Would also love to hear what everyone else thought of this
episode.
