don't forget, sometimes the best way is the easiest way.

try the keep it simple rule, don't treat the other relationships as "obstacles" 

they were both in love with other people, both in love with other people of the 
opposite sex.  it happens all the time-I'd venture a guess and say that most of us have 
been in love with more than one person in our lives, and that those previous loves 
weren't obstacles in falling in love with someone else and our current loves don't 
disrespect the previous ones.  And also, it's often those earlier relationships that have 
taught us valuable lessons, opened us up so we could experience others.  

and also people fall in love with other people even when they're already in love with 
someone else, but in my experience, they don't usually just fall out of love with the 
first person.  There's your drama, your angst.  remember willow's pain when choosing 
tara over oz.  she clearly loves both, oz is a part of her, he's oz.  she chose tara but 
there was certainly no desecration of the oz/will relationship, even after oz's mistakes 
w/veruca (evil bitch!)
