just my $0.02

I liked the drug metaphor, i felt it was very realistic. I'm a
recovering drug addict myself, and commiserated with willow...I felt
Joss portrayed addiction well, and also thought it was one of Aly's
finer moments as an actress...It takes alot to put that kind of
emotion into a situation like that, and IMO she pulled it off well...

Season 7 was FULL of holes, I agree. and I found myself wishing they'd
stake spike and get it over with, mostly because his original
character was completely gone. He was no longer a vampire, (chip or
soul be damned) just a whiney brat who needed to drink blood.

HOWEVER, I did like the way things were handled over all, even though
the mood of the whole season felt forced to me. I felt like they were
all trying too hard.

Sad as I am that BtVS is gone, I find myself glad, that if that was
the way the characters and storyline would have continued, that it
ended when it did. All the years of growing into characters culminated
into this angsty-tired-I dont wanna do this anymore-type feel...
