I can't say I've ever said "those two
are so gonna jump in bed when this scene is over". But then, I don't think
love is all about sex. Not that I'm saying you do; but when I see the love
between Buffy and Giles, it's more of a "they should have taken this scene, gone
here with it, and I could SO see them developing a long-lasting love
relationship based on this."

nope. I don't care much for S6 B/S (though I have nothing against it;

I'd say that it's the authority figure issue that makes me scrunch my
nose at Buffy/Giles, but I can't, cuz I can see Willow/Giles working
(if I try. hard). I just think it's the chemistry between Buffy and
Giles that prevents me from going "those two are SO gonna jump into
bed when this scene is over". ah well
