Yeah, but, Angel's soul had been boinked out of him at the time. 
Faith and Willow did their thing with their souls INTACT.  

Ironically enough, all soulless vamp Willow did to Buffy was be bitchy
to her.  :)

Parts 2 and 3 of "The Bonding Thing", from about a year ago, inspired
by one two many vistis to one too many fic sites with one too many
fics with the summary "Chracter A is depressed over Event X. 
Character B offers comfort.  Slash".  So, Buffy and Willow had to
confront the Most Terrifying Slashfic Cliche, something they've
managed to avoid over the years, for the most part.

The fun part writing it, as always, was keeping everybody in

Now when it turns into a "Xander's an evil bastard who's getting in
the way" thing.  This is a TRIO, here.  Um, by trio, I mean
platonically, of course...  Unless, of course, that's what I'm
writing, but I haven't done that, I don't think...
