re: Fic:(Repost) Prisms-Red 2/2

Mad-Hamlet;

One half-hour ago, I finished reading 'Prisms; Red'. Both parts. First, let me give my immediate reaction to your story;

Whoa! What a story!!!!!

Okay. That's over with. Now that I've had time to collect my thoughts.

I am in awe at how you captured the character's voices in this one. Even with all the POV changes, I was able to follow the story easily, and could tell who was speaking. I could hear in my head the voice of each character as I read each part. From Giles' maturity and Xander's efforts to understand how his friends were changing to Spike's disgust and Buffy's desire to protect Willow at all costs, all of their voices and motivations rang true.

The showdown with the rapists was harrowing, especially since you chose to tell it almost entirely from Willow's POV. Her reactions as her friends were losing themselves in their rage were entirely believable, and her finally confronting Buffy before she became a killer, man, that had me on the edge of my seat. And may I say I'm glad that she was able to stop her from finishing the job. Willow has always been the heart and soul of the Scooby Gang, and her relationship with Buffy is, IMHO, the core relationship on the show. Angel, Riley and Tara be damned, their friendship has lasted longer than any of their other relationships, and will always be the one thing Buffy can count on. You handled that relationship splendidly.

Is this the last part of the story? You've been going by colors in your titles, and you still have 'Yellow' to go through. And I would love to see how the gang recover from this ordeal. Show how Willow begins the healing process, and how she and Buffy deal with her revealation that Willow loves Buffy. You're on a roll, my friend, and I can't wait to see more.

In summation, my hat is off to you. Ya done good.
