Well, as much as I enjoyed the bitter Dan, I have to point out something you
missed in the ep that covers one of the plot holes you were bitter about.

Buffy knew talisman was nearby because she found it when she was in the
bathroom before. She picked it up and looked at it just before she saw dead
people. She then dropped it on the floor while busy reacting to the dead
people. She told Xander where it was when she called him, that's why he was
looking in the girl's bathroom and could go right to it.
