When I first suggested that, a lot of folks told me I was way off
base.  There were three things I was suggesting about Willow, at the
time, that I was told I was way off base about, too.  They were...

1.  I think Willow's kind of gay.
2.  She and this Tara girl are getting to be more than just friends.
3.  She has a thing for Buffy.

Well, I got at least two out of three right, there, and still consider
the third open for debate.  Now, you'd think, after New Moon Rising,
the arguement about what was going on with Willow, and her
relationship with Tara, would be settled, right?  Wrong.  The people
who had insisted we were completely offbase STILL insisted we were
"wrong", that Willow was suddenly turned gay and put into this
relationship with Tara with that episode, and that there was nothing
to even suggest it in the episodes, before.  The fact that some of us
had been saying Willow had gay tendencies at least since Bad Girls
(and some seeing it clear back in WTTH), and saying there was
something between her and Tara since Hush first aired had things turn
out EXACTLY as they'd described was just an amazing coincidence.  No,
no, those little touches we noticed weren't there...

It's one thing to insist that speculation, and theories based on it,
are off base when they're first done, especially if it's something you
disagree with.  I find it kind of pointless, though, to keep insisting
that that the speculation and theory are STILL wrong after they're
proven correct.  For example, during Season 4, there were quite a few
folks who thought that Willow, with the combination of her growing
magical power and unresolved personal issues, was headed down a
dangerous path, and would have a major fall from grace, even turning
bad for a while.  I disagreed.  But, things happened just as they
speculated it would.  I don't, however, still insist they were wrong
in their observations and speculation.  I admit they noticed things I
didn't.  

I did get the Slayers being part demon right, though.  Of course, I
also thought Tara, and maybe Willow and Giles, had a little demon
blood in them...

Actually, it's more having been quiet and shy and absorbed in books as
a kid, only to grow into a "cool bad boy" punk rocker, who has a very
romantic view on life, and tries to live by a chilvirous code.  Where
I relate to Tara is in some parts little details with expressions and
body language (with the occasional rebellious sleeves and hair), and
some things that are more personal than I'm going to get into.  I'll
leave it with, regarding Tara in S6, I've been there.
